About 80km to the northwest of Lisbon you will find the picturesque village of Peniche, the Portuguese surf city! The bay is several kilometres long with soft beach breaks - the perfect spots for beginners. Advanced surfers will find plenty of excellent surf spots nearby. The peninsula’s unique location provides Baleal with swell from all directions and of course, there is the legendary spot Supertubes, paid tribute to in countless surf magazines.

CAMP: lodging in chosen accommodation (bed + sheets & blankets), full use of the house facilities and free internet access at the office or with wireless at the Surf Base & Beach Bar. Surf lessons from Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day, including equipment and transfers to the spots, Video Aid, individual sport insurance provided by the camp. During the high season participants of the surf camp will have one surf trip to a nearby surf spot, a weekly barbecue (extra 10eur) at the Beach Bar. Guests can fully use the equipment (board & wet suit) during the stay.
GUIDE: lodging in chosen accommodation (bed + sheets & blankets), full use of the house facilities and free internet access at the office (2 computers) or with wireless at the Surf Base & Beach Bar. Surf spot guiding from Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day with transfers to the spots. Surf Guide is available only during Mid and Low season.
ACCOMMODATION: only lodging (bed + sheets & blankets), full use of the house facilities and free access at the office (2 computers) or with wireless at the Surf School & Beach Bar.
CUSTOM: packages with mixed options such as: accommodation + board or/and wet suit rent; different accommodation options during period staying, different dates than week long Sunday to Sunday fixed camp dates, this type of requests will have a custom quote instead of the standard quotes below.
Any guest staying at our Surf Camp during the high season can join the weekly barbecue (costs an extra 10eur) at the Beach Bar closed exclusively to welcome this feature. The guests will also be in the Guest List for the weekends parties at the Beach Bar – Bruno’s.

Please note that we are capable of offering two types of lodging:
Accommodations type A (Superior) - ideal for couples or families. Accommodation is in the Cocktail, Green or Village house in your own room, less people in the house therefore more privacy. These houses are apartments all equipped and located near the surf base/bar.
Accommodations type B (Cool) – Ideal for the younger and more relaxed people. Hostal type of lodging with shared rooms and house. Both houses are within walking distance from the surf base.
Accommodation type A – Superior - is available from 29/06 until 28/9

We start the pre scheduled camps on the 1st of June 2008 (01/06/2008) and we are making 22 fixed camps running till the 28th September 2008. Please Check Surf Camp Schedule
The school base is located at the beach where the lessons are held. There is also a restaurant where you can have food & drinks. You may spend the breaks before and after the lessons at the surf base cafe, relax on the terrace and enjoy the best view of the spot.
In the evening you will exchange the boards for turntables and long drinks at the base camp bar, which hosts an ever-changing list of DJs (with well-known DJ’s from Lisbon), live acts and beach parties (our surf base is open from May till end October). The surf base’s party programme is very popular in the region and it’s the place where people come together to celebrate the best summer vibes.
