The first CALIMA SURF SCHOOL Lanzarote founded in 1996. It developed from the idea of connecting snowboarding and surfing with the common desire to "Keep on free-riding". This was the philosophy of the first surf camps for snowboarders.
Our guests belong to the international surfing, snowboard and skateboard scene and they are a valid part of the growing surf community on the north shore of Lanzarote, together with other people of any age who surf or want to become a surfer. LANZAROTE SURF SCHOOL
Thanks to the perfect weather conditions, we are able to teach surfing all year around. The average water temperature is between 20-23 °C and air temperature is between 20-25 °C, which allow us to surf almost every day.

In 1998 Stormrider guide considered our surf camp the biggest infrastructure of its kind in Spain. With the opening of our new surf schools in other destinations such as Brazil and Gran Canaria North & South we become an International Surf School competing eye to eye with all the surf camps of Europe and the rest of the world !!!
CALIMA SCHOOL instructors who can speak English, Spanish and German. They have the skills to train everybody, from beginners to advanced surfers.
