Can I bring euros?

The local currency is Egyptian pound - (dollars and euros accepted everywhere). You can also use the money machine or change your cash at the Hotel – Menaville.

How can I go around?

You can take taxis and local buses in front of the hotel.

It is expensive to make a phone call from Safaga?

The international calls are very expensive. Cells do work in Safaga. There is also many Internet shops in town and one in the Menavilla Hotel.

There are many pharmacies, which are very well stocked.

Wich kind of Clothes should I bring?

Winter: (November to March) warm clothes at night (high drops in temperature at night). Better wear long sleeves surf suit (possibly with wet boots), gloves and sunglasses.
Summer: light clothes, hat, sunglasses, gloves, shorts or lycra (June to September) and wet boots.

How do I get there?

Arriving at the airport of Hurghada: Go straight to Safaga either by taxi or bus (45 min drive). The travel agencies will arrange your transfer.

Where can I have a drink?

In the Hotel or in town: Many local cafes will welcome you to have teas, sodas and smoke the famous shisha.

Where can I eat?

You can lunch in the Hotel restaurant or in front of the Pro Center. There is also a club and bars on the beach in the hotel.
