BOAT TRIP

The Red Sea Kite safari – Red Sea Boat Trip -, is one of those trips that everybody should try once in life, mainly kitesurfers (and windsurfers on request). Departure from Hurghada. 45 km from Safaga.

 

A) Itinerary

Liveaboard Kitesurfing Holidays – Hurghada Egypt

One week on a splendid wood boat (Turkish Ketch) surrounded by glistening turquoise sea, lagoons, wind every day, superb conditions, lots of space and only you guys kitesurfing.

What about non kite surfers? Do not worry, they can be busy with snorkeling and discovering the wonderful under water world of the Red Sea, kayaking, taking an initiative of Kitesurf or windsurf and of course sunbathing and relaxing.

All meals are cooked for you and the crew are there to assist and instructors are on board for advanced tips and safety support, it doesn`t get better.

Min. kiteboarding level required: you are experienced in Kite or want to improve your level (min level required: water start able)

Program

Saturday evening
Arrive at the Hurghada airport. Reception and transfer to the boat at Hurghada new marina. In the event of early arrival on Friday, kite surfers can ride with our team on local spots and overnight in a hotel (on request)
 
Sunday, day 1
Cruising Kite in virgin lagoon with the crystalline water colours under the sharp blue sky of Egypt. After that we will go to the north of the red sea.
 
   Days 2, 3, 4, 5
Cruising and kitesurfing around the islands of Tawilla, Gubal and Geissum: flat water, wind constantly building up during the day until sunset, splendid landscapes and their inhabitants (sea eagles, crabs, dolphins, etc.), giant downwind, a warm and friendly atmosphere, video and coaching available, contemplating the stars and enjoying meals prepared by our "chef"!
 
  Friday, day 6
Morning ride and return to Hurghada after lunch. Debrief and discovery of Hurghada with its shops, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs!

  Saturday
Breakfast on the boat, then free day (depending on your flight): kite on the mythical spot of Kreazy Bay (Safaga, 55 km in the south), visit Hurghada, Quad in the desert, etc...
Airport transfer (including luggage storage if required)
 

In the event of less wind, we can enjoy the underwater world while waiting for the wind to return!

B) Rates and details

The kitesurfing on this red sea kite safari is just epic!
Imagine roaming around a set of remote sandy islands surrounded by the most brilliant turquoise sea, full support to hand and not another kite surfer in site.
The sound of the anchor dropping and the excitement of another new spot to  kitesurf, load up the rib with your favorite kite for the day and of you go for yet another epic day of  flat water free ride heaven hearing the odd woop of your fellow kite surfers as they land a new trick.
Your day> Breakfast, Kitesurf, chill, Kitesurf, Lunch, Chill Kitesurf… drink something and relax.

Kite boat trips are available all year long. If you want to book a specific date, please contact us for updated availability.
We can also occasionally bring some windsurfing equipment on board. On request only.
Capacity: from 4 to 10 participants… plus our kite instructor and his crew.

Confirmation of the departure:
- Individuals: 30 days prior
- Full charter: 60 days prior

Important: All participants should be IKO level 3 or equivalent in their home country. They should be able to go up wind and control their kite in different wind conditions.

For the weeks Red Sea Kite safari we have chartered a 22m, wooden turkish ketch that is just a joy to sail on (with engine only).

We also have an IKO instructor on board for ad hoc coaching (basic jumps, new moves etc)

Useful information

The towels are not provided.

No spirit on board, we can arrange for you to purchase local wine/beer. If you have some space left, pack some treats for the end of the day! (Aperitif, sausage, wine, cheese...)

Take sunglasses, sun lotion, and lycra or shorts and wet boots (strongly advised).
