Can I bring euros?

The local currency is Egyptian pound - Bring cash (dollars and euros accepted at the centre). There is a cash dispenser(only local money) at the hotel and a bank in Ras Sudr!

How can I go around?

You can book taxis from the front desk of the hotel.

It is expensive to make a phone call from Ras Sudr?

The international calls are very expensive. Cells do work in Ras Sudr.

There are many pharmacies, which are very well stocked.

Wich kind of Clothes should I bring?

Winter: (November to March) warm clothes at night (high drops in temperature at night). Better wear long sleeves surf suit (possibly with wet boots), gloves and sunglasses.
Summer: light clothes, hat, sunglasses, gloves, shorts or lycra (June to September) and wet boots.

Where can I have a drink?

In the hotel or in Ras Sudr: Many local cafes will welcome you to have teas, sodas and smoke the famous shisha.

Where can I eat?

In the Paradise Hotel, you can lunch on the beach in front of the Pro Center.
