We are proud to offer kite surf course for every levels.
For those wanting to learn Kite surfing or improve, Calima Surf provides all its instruction with 4 and 5 line
kites.
For complete beginners its takes an average it takes between 6 to 10hours to learn the sport. The lesson begins with some beach training learning how to fly and control the kite. The amount of beach training varies with the level of the client. Once the client has learnt to control the kite on land, the remaining lessons take place on water in front of the centre. The first stages on the water comprise of you and the kite, performing what is known as the “Body Drag”. Once you have learnt to control the kite, the next stage is getting you on the board. Our goal is to have you going out and coming back in, on the board, before you leave.
For intermediate and advanced kite surfers the lessons begin in the water with a focus on improvement.
Instruction can be provided in English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian
For more advanced Kite Surfers, we rents the latest kites and boards. Equipment can be taken to other popular
spot such as kite beach and Punta Preta.
For those wanting to jump to the next level, Calima Surf in Cabo Verde has world class Kite Surfers providing private lessons in different spots on the island. They are famous for their style and often ending lessons with an amazing down winder from Kite Beach back the to station.

Intro - 2 Hours
Calima Surf - Cabo Verde
this is a two hour course consisting of 1.5 hours on the beach with a small kite-learning the basic techniques of how to fly the kite. Followed by 1/2 hour of body drag with kite only in the water. It is meant merely to give someone the flavour of kite surfing and to allow them to determine if they like it or not. 60 euro
Full Beginner course -10 hours
Calima Surf - Cabo Verde
This course is for people who can not kite surf and want to learn the basics. It consists of beach training, kite flying, and kite surfing with the board. The course also teaches the student how to kite surf safely, as well as learn about the material they are using. 255 euro
Kick Starter Course - 6 hours
Calima Surf - Cabo Verde
This is a 6 hour course for those want a taste of kite surfing, but do not want to commit to a full beginner course. In this course, we do beach training, body drag, and introduction to the board in the water. 160 euro
Intermediate - 6 hours
Calima Surf - Cabo Verde
This course is for people who can kite surf a little but are struggling to go up-wind. The course focuses on teaching the student how to go up wind, and go out and return to the same position. These surfers are up on the board but struggle a little with direction.
These Kite Surfers should be able to re-launch a kite in Deep Water: 155 euro
Advanced High Flyer - 6 hours
Calima Surf - Cabo Verde
For more advanced kite surfers wanting to learn jumps, and better technique. These surfers can go up wind and go out and come back to the same position. 145 euro
Refresher/Supervision Course - 4 hours

This is for people for can kite surf but would like some supervisions and tips to get used to the local conditions and material (if rented from us) 85 euro
