El Salvador is located in Central America, between the north and south of the American Continent. It borders the Republic of Guatemala to the west, the Republic of Honduras to the north, the Republics of Honduras and Nicaragua to the east, in the waters of the Gulf of Fonseca, and to the south with the Pacific Ocean. Its territorial extension is approximately 20,742 square kilometers; it has 296 kilometers of coastline in the Pacific which extends throughout the country.

Because of its hemispheric situation, eminently tropical, it is possible to have year-long benign climatic conditions: The rainy season lasts from May through October and summer from November through April, the annual average temperature is 25°C. (77°F).
El Salvador has a tropical climate throughout the year, which allows the visitor to bask in its sunny beaches, admire the beauty of Salvadoran women and enjoy the affability of its people. Beaches are only 30 minutes away from the main cities. There are also places where you can enjoy the natural vegetation and the excellent work of its artisans.
