Playon de Bayas – Los Quebrantos
Playon de Bayas it is a very consistent beach break. Work at any tide and you will normally find just a few surfers on the line up. This is some of the closers spots to the Calima Surf Camp in Asturias. You will be also able to surf a good quality left hander wave, Quebrantos, at the wets side of the beach… just 400 meters far from the Surf House
Arnao
Arnao it’s a long beach break wave. It work with decent NW swell and it is better with south wind and mid to high tide. Bodyboarder spot.
Salinas
Salinas is one of the most popular spot in the region. It is better with NW swell and any wind direction, except W and SW. Localism. The beach is located in the urban zone of Aviles.
Xago
Xago remains the best option with flat condition, due their exposure to the atlantic. It work at all tides and it hold NE wind. We recommend visiting Xago, mainly in summer time.
Xivares
Good peaks at all tides, mainly in the river mouth. Xivares need a big swell to work and it is better with south wind. Is situated very close to Gijón, but there is Not strong localism.
Playa España
Playa España is a Small sandy Beach (500m) with one or two peaks. It is better with NW swell and south wind. Surfable at all tides.
Rodiles
World class spot with NW swell and south wind. Probably the best wave in Asturias. Strong localism. Left hander river mouth break.
Aguilar
Nice Scene. Eupalyptus forest. Surfable at most tides, but is better at mid tide. It needs a decent W or NW swell and south wind.
San Pedro de la ribera
River mouth break. Nice scene. It works with a NW swell. It is better at low to mid tide.
Cadavedo
It is most a winter spot, because need a huge swell to work. Excellent right hander point break. It is better with glassy conditions.
Tapia
Tapia is a Consistent beach break. Near to urban center of Tapia de Casariego. Popular surf spot. Contest area. Normally crowded.
